Johnson City Development Authority Offers CO.STARTERS – Beginning January 22

The Johnson City Development Authority is partnering with AccelNow to offer CO.STARTERS, a nationally renowned program that helps entrepreneurs turn an idea into a new business in just nine weeks. The first CO.STARTERS session begins January 22, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the NETREP office at 300 E. Main Street, 4th floor.  Register here!

Participants of the CO.STARTERS program work with a small and supportive group of like-minded people who are all trying to start their own businesses. Following the class, participants can compete in a pitch night, to share what they have learned about themselves and their business with friends and family. They will be prepared to participate in Pitches and Pints, a regional pitch contest for entrepreneurs.

CO.STARTERS came out of The Company Lab, a Chattanooga, Tennessee organization that offers programs and events to support local startups and innovators in Chattanooga and the surrounding region. The program takes the lessons learned from working with thousands of local, creative entrepreneurs and combines that knowledge with the lean business modeling methods used by high-growth startups. The CO.STARTERS model has been tested for years in Chattanooga, Cincinnati, and Detroit.
