The Warrior’s Canvas & Veterans Art Center
The Warrior’s Canvas & Veterans Art Center is a 501c3 non-profit in downtown Johnson City. Our mission is to build a Veteran artist community in the Tri-Cities where Veterans can experience art as therapy through art classes, provide a professional gallery space for Veterans to display and sell their art and to be a rallying point and gathering place for Veterans in the Tri-Cities.
We currently offer free art classes to Veterans and their family members. We are also offering paid classes to the general public as a way to raise awareness about our mission and to help generate funds to be able to provide supplies, studio space and classes for Veterans with PTSD and other military related trauma.
Our gallery features artwork and crafts from talented local Veteran artists and craftsmen, which are for sale. 70 percent of the proceeds go to the artist and 30 percent goes to the gallery to purchase supplies and operating costs.
