The Downtown Johnson City Foundation is a 501c(3) organization whose mission is to provide funds for improvements and projects in downtown Johnson City.  This is accomplished by:

  • purchasing, developing or managing properties designed to revitalize and stimulate the development of the downtown area
  • undertaking activities designed to preserve and protect the history of Johnson City
  • sponsoring and managing festivals and event designed to provide economic activity and development
  • accepting, holding, investing and administering any gifts, bequests or property to use, disburse or donate the income
  • seeking contributions, grants and other funding and promote fundraising activities to implement the objectives
